About 4 years ago my husband and I started to do some research on a dog breed we wanted for our family. After adding a couple of breeders on Facebook, we came across the Australian Cattle Dog Company. I reached out to Dominique with questions regarding the breed and the litter of puppies that were available at that time. She was so helpful and knowledgeable!! On July 9, 2019...I came by to check out the puppies and one of them just clung to my son and I. Being pregnant with another child on the way I knew adding a puppy to the mix would be a challenge, but I knew I couldn’t walk out her door without taking that pup with us. I brought the puppy home and he has become such a big part of our family. He’s very smart and has been easy to train since day 1, and I think it has a lot to do with how much time Dominique and the family puts into the puppies from the time they’re born until they’re ready for their forever home. It makes a huge difference!! Our son named him Chase and he is the best dog anyone could ask for. At 6.5 months old he knows all basic commands and then some, when we go on walks he doesn’t leave our side, doesn’t pull on the leash, is great with our 7 year old and newborn daughter, he’s very protective of his family and is the best cuddle buddy! He’s active and needs stimulation and exercise but being the active family we are, this has never been a problem! We are wanting another pup from this breeder after we buy a bigger house; and after years of being husky, German shepherd & beagle owners...I don’t think we will ever own anything else other than an ACD again!! These dogs are great and bred with integrity!! Highly recommend!!

She was the 2019 USDAA Canadian Regional 16" Steeplechase and Grand Prix Champion, a 2019 Cynosport World Competition DAM team finalist and Grand Prix and Steeplechase semifinalist.
Her structure and drive are a perfect representation of the breed and she has taught me so much as a handler. I was thankful to have found a breeder who did not dock tails or remove dewclaws, both are actually very important for performance dogs. After I lost one my dachshunds this past summer, my other dachshund really struggled being an only dog. Laylah was my first dog and I had only had dachshunds. Being the reason I fell in love with the dachshund breed, I was not ready to welcome another dachshund to our home after losing Laylah. I had known that I wanted a heeler as my next breed for a couple years and had already looked into a few breeders including Australian Cattle Dog Company. I messaged Dominique and she was so helpful in answering my questions and finding out what I was looking for in a new dog! At the end of June, I went to meet the puppies! We had two picked out that we were interested in, but one of them had chosen me from the moment I held him.
On July 4, 2019, I brought my Declan home and he became part of the family instantly. He has been the most laid back and easiest puppy I’ve owned.
At just 6.5 months old, Declan has already learned so much! He is so smart and eager to learn. He has mastered his basic obedience skills, loose leash walking, and even excels in his off leash skills as well!
I’m excited to see him continue to grow and learn.
ACDC pups have excellent temperament and are great examples of well bred dogs! Dominique cares about her pups and is the definition of a responsible breeder! We will be getting another ACD from her when we have a bigger house!

We were hesitant about getting a dog as no breed really fit our lifestyle, then we came across the ACD and it was a perfect match. We researched breeders across Ohio, Michigan, and Illinois and came across Australian Cattle Dog Company. It was still a couple hours from our home but knew it was the right fit from the start. Dominique was very informative, patient, and flexible with our ever changing schedule from start to finish. She let us visit 3 times and was never hesitant about it. We went up to meet her and her herd before we even decided we were going to get a puppy, and fell in love immediately. She was just as awesome in person and her dogs are so beautiful, well behaved, and friendly, we decided to put a deposit down right then and there for the next litter. She never rushed us out any of the times we visited and let us take our time picking out our pup and spend time with him on our second visit up. Even though our ACD is now almost 2 years old, she still continues to answer any questions we have and we know she will be there when we decide to get our next one. I will always recommend ACDC and we are forever an ACD family because of her!

I have owned ACDs since the early 90’s. I purchased my last one from Dominique last January after following her website for some time. I can’t say enough about the quality of this dog but the greatest thing to me was how socialized she was. It sure makes training a lot easier. My Dottie is my Velcro dog and Love her so much! You got a good thing going here Dominique!
